Word around the office was that working on the company website was a curse; being thrown into a fire with no end in sight. I, however, saw this as the best opportunity to prove myself to my new employers. Committing myself to something I had very little experience in (Flash), I managed to skin and customize an existing Flash component to suit Mindblossom's needs. On top of this, I put an end to the chaos (hex, even) by tying up all loose ends left by developers once hired (now fired.)
Coming into the project closer to the end proved to be difficult. I had to deal with messy, unfinished, non-standard code and make it all come together. While Mindblossom.com might not have the most uh, seductive(?) code, it was a great lesson in working with others and developing in a pinch to please multiple parties.
