The Cherry has been Popped

November 19, 2010

I just won my first award, and you know what? It’s totally bitchin’. Like, hyper-super bitchin’.

When I say first, I mean my first award outside of the various awards you pick up in college. You know the kind, Best Portfolio, Best Projectile Vomit, Student Gone the Longest Without Showering, etc.

No, this one is an Applied Arts Interactive Award.

The redesign of Gelaskins.com done by the great people at Teehan+Lax is what scored. On the team specifically, was Shannon Weir and Christy MacLeod (Project Managers), Steve Taubman (Designer, now Art Director) and myself.

Open a New Brew

June 13, 2008.

Sleeman.com

Brewing a great beer takes time, skill and dedication; so does developing a great beer's website.

Along side the launch of No. 20 Anniversary ale, Sleeman wanted to bring something new to their website. With an interactive timeline and full Sleeman menu, Mindblossom had crafted the perfect design to compliment the much anticipated brew.

New to the Mindblossom team, Sleeman was the perfect opportunity for me to show what I could bring to the bar... er, table. Using a Scriptaculous frame work, I developed a very user-friendly dropdown system, implemented sIFR technologies and structured the website using clean xhtml and css.
